Day 7: One week down


I feel like coffee has been my saving grace. Especially after I found my new favorite: Starbucks almond milk honey flat white. Usually drank with a side of oatmeal. Sounds riveting right? (If there was a partially laughing, mostly weeping emoji, it should be inserted here.)

The gym still isn't my friend. And I gotta say that my first week's weigh-in has been sorely disappointing. It's hard enough to choose to eat a side of vegetables AGAIN while the world around you is chowing down on In And Freaking Out (Fuck you, by the way. You know who you are. Hahahahaha... sob!) 

It's even more disheartening, when you see your lovely fiance, dropping those lbs like it's nothing. Like breathing. Like eating half a pizza. Like you haven't been struggling for months for a mere 4 lbs to fall off. Like eating 10 Double-Stuf Oreos and finding out you just ingested 700 calories!

Oh yeah, Oreos are vegan by the way. And ONE Double-Stuf Oreo is 70 calories. SEVENTY MOTHER-EFFFF-EFFFF-EFFFFFING WHY GOD WHY IN THE HELL WOULD YOU MAKE THIS VEGAN AND TACK ON THAT MANY CALORIES?!?!?

In conclusion, thank the Lord for coffee. Sweet, sweet nectar of the gods. No I haven't given up yet. I've got 13 more weeks to go. Fingers crossed, man. Fingers, toes, eyes, whatever. Just give me another cup of coffee.
